The Global Innovation Initiative Group (GIIG), in exclusive partnership with the Federal Government of Ethiopia and with the support of key organizations such as the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) and Ministry of Skills and Labour, orchestrated a remarkable event – the GSA Africa Summit in the heart of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa.

A pinnacle moment during this summit was the prestigious Awards Dinner, graciously hosted by the Ethiopian Mayor's office at the picturesque Friendship Park. It was at this spectacular event that 16 exceptional Regional Finalists were celebrated and crowned as GSA African Winners.

The GSA Africa Summit served as a unique convergence point for startups from 24 African countries. In attendance were distinguished ambassadors, international investors, corporate representatives, and government officials. This collective gathering resonated as a testament to the significance and potential of the African startup ecosystem.
